What is the status of the (mostly forgotten) Malibu Comics back catalogue? Do Marvel own the original art etc? What about Malibu original content created for licensed properties? Do the original creators (and/or Marvel) retain ownership of that? Many thanks for any elaboration.

I’ve spoken about this in the past. There is a legal situation that prevents us from doing anything with any of the Malibu characters or properties—but because of non-disclosure agreements, I cannot tell you anything beyond that about it.

So, long story short, nothing’s going on with those characters.
